Roupp's repertoire and stuff are strong, with a curveball that grades out to a 117 Stuff+ with elite high spin. However, his home and road splits are near-even, and he struggles most on the road against lefties. Roupp's short-term future appears bright, and his fantasy production should be helpful. It would not be a stretch to project Roupp to produce a 3.35-3.50 ERA with around 70 strikeouts over 70 innings for the rest of the season. Roupp's matchups for the rest of the season are not too shabby, with a mix of home and away games against some of the league's top teams. However, Roupp doesn't appear to be a pitcher who fantasy managers are going out of their way to acquire, so there may be some meat on the bone in a potential 1-for-1 SP swap. Personally, I think Roupp is a solid option for fantasy managers looking for a solid starting pitcher for the rest of the season. His ability to strike out batters and minimize hard contact makes him a valuable asset, and his matchups are favorable. In my opinion, Roupp is a player worth considering in fantasy leagues, especially for those looking to make up for any pitching category deficiencies.
