The anime adaptation of Monshō Sakakibara's light novel series, "The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend," has been announced. The teaser video, visual, main cast, staff, and 2027 debut have been revealed by ASMIK Ace.
The anime will star Daiki Yamashita as Liese, Hana Hishikawa as Minori, and Yuki Inaba as the director and series scriptwriter. The story follows a reincarnated elf who, after his ordinary life ends in a sudden accident, is reborn with a lifespan of 1,000 years. Determined to live a life without regrets, he sets out on a journey, encountering and bidding farewell to those he meets along the way.
The light novel series, launched on the Kakuyomu website in 2021, has been published by Starts Publishing with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka. The manga adaptation, launched on Starts Publishing's Novema website in May 2023, is serialized on the company's new manga website, Manga Zegra. The first compiled book volume was released in March 2024, with the sixth volume set to ship on June 26.
